I showed the racial breakdown of LSAT takers in my previous post. Now let’s look at their group IQ’s according to my chart: African-Americans, as a group, score roughly a 92 IQ; Asian-Americans, as a group, score roughly a 106 IQ; Caucasians, as a group, score roughly a 107 IQ; Mexican Americans, as a group, score roughly a 99 IQ.
What’s particularly nice about the LSAT racial breakdown is that it involves Asian- and Mexican-Americans who are native English speakers; we can thus see how they stack up to Caucasians without language familiarity biases.

You can’t make the comparison until you understand where the LSAT takers stand in their respective groups. For example, a disproportionately large fraction of Asians take the LSAT compared to whites.

I have a couple of Asian friends who the LSAT this year. Both of them are not native English speakers. However, due to their immigration status (they are US permanent residents), they are categorized as Asian Americans. See that more and more foreigners from Asia are attending law schools with green cards, I believe more study is needed to find out how many of the “Asian Americans” are not non-native speakers.
